Diwali in India is the joyful festival of lights. It’s to many Indians what Christmas is to Cristians. It’s a five-day famous festival celebrated in October and November and people feel strong emotions during the celebration. In essence, it commemorates the victory of the forces of lights over the forces of darkness.
Indeed, the value is all about sharing. When you go to this festival people are celebrating and singing happily, wishing you “Happy Diwali”.
It is also customary for families to go to temples together on these days. Neighbours share among them not only food, but also treats. Flowers, candles, lights, fireworks, colourful clothes, coloured sand on the floors are always particular elements during Dwali festival where they never feel sadly or stressed.
